Being a marketer, it is important to understand and know the theory of consumer behavior. But this cannot be achieved if you fail to understand your behavior as a consumer. Being able to identify your personal buying behavior will help, or give an insight into how marketers target you. I know myself to be a budget-conscious being who spends rationally because I see no reason getting everything I don’t need, to save money for the things I will need. According to Mothersbaugh, Hawkins & Tom, (2016). Marketers go extreme to what drives consumer behavior, this could be the quality of a product or service, consumer needs, consumer satisfaction, durability, and many more.
